Do You Want to Avoid Gaining Weight This Holiday Season?

Unraveling Human Weight Gain: Can We Triumph in This Battle?

The holiday season is here—a time of joy, celebration, and indulgence. But for many, it’s also a time when the scale creeps up, leaving us feeling heavier and frustrated. Despite promises to “start fresh in January,” the combination of rich foods, disrupted routines, alcohol, and stress can leave us with unwanted weight gain.

So, how can we navigate this festive season, enjoy our favorite treats, and avoid those extra pounds? The answer lies in understanding a secret about our minds that most people don’t know.

The Ongoing Weight Battle

It may seem at times as a “mission impossible” for many of us these days, when it has to do with losing weight. Despite of special diets, exercise programs, supplementation, and aggressive GLP-1 agonists drug class injections with severe side-effects, we all at some point in our lives are affected with this so-called epidemic of our century.  For many of us, despite enormous efforts, self discipline and self restrictions, our weight boomerangs back no matter what, sometimes even more than before.  Why does nothing seem to be working in regards to your weight?

Why does nothing seem to work when it comes to weight management?

Blaming vs. Claiming Responsibility

It almost seems that Weight grows by itself and we are the victims of our time. There are some people that would say that they are the victims and this is why many of us give up before even trying. In this light people learn to blame everyone and everything that they can: stress, climate, pollution, cosmic radiation, the government that allows GMO, pesticides, genetcts, parents and many more factors. The key word is blaming vs claiming responsibility.  We live in the time when we want to claim responsibility for our own actions.  As in fact it doesn’t matter whose fault it is, but rather how we can correct it.

Where Do We Start?

The first step will be to look at the root of the problem, not at the post effect or symptom.  What if you knew that our body never makes mistakes?  It is extremely intelligent to the point that it is designed to survive despite all our circumstances or “abuse” that we often put it through, such as starvation, alcohol, nicotine poisoning, caffeine, sleep deprivation, reaction to stress, and other chemical, emotional and physical trials.  Your body is designed to survive no matter what.

What if you knew that the core problem that we are all going through is rooted deep coded in our DNA and therefore in mind?  What if you knew that it can be undone or changed or simply uncoded and reprogrammed?  Would you still choose to be a victim? Luckily, there is such a knowledge and it is known for many, but not widely published for several reasons.  So, are you ready to find out how to be lean, the way you want to be? Are you ready to wear those perfect and sexy skinny jeans several sizes smaller, which you secretly keep in your closet and refuse to throw away, subconsciously knowing that you can wear it again?  So get comfortable and get notes as you need to go throught a lot of different fields of science to get to this information again.

The Hidden Secret of Our Minds

It is all in our minds: we are wired for survival and our subconscious bio-programs are designed to protect us beyond our conscious control. Apparently, there are six emotional consepts, based on biological conflicts, that restrict you from your desired figure, that set biochemical processes in our bodies to gain weight for us to survive.

These six biological conflicts that happened during your life (including the time you spend in your mother’s wound): conscious or unconscious.  You can call it “mistakes” or “errors” in perceiving or relating to life are the magical switch that makes us fat, ill and less attractive.  Fortunately these emotional traumas can be worked on and reprogrammed in your brain and mind.  There are two methods that will help you with that: Neurofeedback and Regression Therapy.

Why Your Body Hangs Onto Fat: The Fascinating Brain-Body Connection

Turns out, it’s not just about food or exercise—it’s about your brain trying to protect you in ways you never even imagined. As a neuro- therapist, let me take you on a journey into the surprising emotional and biological conflicts behind obesity and weight gain.

1. The “Don’t Leave Me!” Fat Mechanism

Imagine you’re a baby in the wild, and your mom disappears. Scary, right? To your brain, being abandoned = game over. So, it kicks into survival mode: every bite of food you eat is stored as fat to keep you alive. Bonus? If you’re bigger, you’re easier to find.

Modern-day example: A mom’s daughter moves out, leaving her with an emotional void. Suddenly, her body starts hoarding fat because it thinks, “What if I’m alone forever? Better prepare!”

How to hack it: Feeling lonely? Connect with others—phone calls, hugs, even a heartfelt chat can reassure your brain that you’re not truly abandoned.

2. “I’m Too Small to Handle This” Syndrome

In nature, bigger animals scare off predators. So, when life’s stressors feel like hungry lions, your brain might decide: “I need to bulk up!”

If you’re constantly overwhelmed, your brain sees fat as a defense mechanism. “Bigger me = safer me.”

Modern-day example: A stressed-out executive gains weight during a tough project. Her brain interprets the pressure as danger and locks her into a “bigger is better” cycle.

How to hack it: Build confidence with small wins. Whether it’s lifting weights, setting boundaries, or crushing your to-do list, every little boost tells your brain, “I’m strong enough without extra fat!”

3. The Milk-and-Hugs Shortage

Babies thrive on milk—not just for nutrition, but for comfort and connection. If that bond is cut short (say, weaning too early), it leaves a lasting impression: “I didn’t get enough!”

Fast forward to adulthood, and this turns into emotional eating. You crave food—not because you’re hungry, but because you’re subconsciously trying to fill that void.

Modern-day example: A person struggles with binge eating during emotional moments, unable to resist “pouncing” on comfort foods.

How to hack it: Next time you’re tempted to overeat, ask yourself: Am I hungry, or am I craving comfort? Then, find ways to soothe yourself that don’t involve food—like cuddling a pet, journaling, or calling a friend.

4. Fat: The World’s Most Underrated Shield

Ever feel like you need to protect yourself? Fat is your body’s version of bubble wrap. Whether it’s from emotional pain, dangerous situations, or even cold weather, your brain uses fat to keep you safe.

Why fat, not muscle? Simple:

Fat is light and voluminous, so you can carry more of it.

It stores energy efficiently (1 gram = 9 calories).

It provides warmth, making it the ultimate survival material.

Modern-day example: A woman gains weight after a traumatic experience, subconsciously trying to make herself “less attractive” and therefore safer.

How to hack it: Reassure your brain that you’re safe. Seek therapy, create supportive environments, and remind yourself: I don’t need to carry this weight to protect myself anymore.

5. “I Deserve to Exist” Fat

Some people constantly feel attacked, criticized, or like they don’t belong. In response, their brain decides: “Let’s get bigger. Let’s take up space. Let’s make them notice me!”

Modern-day example: Someone in a toxic work environment gains weight because their brain sees size as a way to claim territory and avoid further aggression.

How to hack it: Learn to assert yourself emotionally. Stand up for your needs, set boundaries, and practice saying no without guilt. Your confidence can speak louder than any extra pounds.

6. “See Me Now!” Weight

Sometimes, weight gain is about wanting to be seen. If you’ve ever felt invisible or insignificant, your brain might think: “If I’m bigger, they’ll have to notice me!”

Modern-day example: A kid bullied in school grows up and gains weight, hoping to command attention and respect.

How to hack it: Focus on expressing your uniqueness in non-physical ways—like your talents, personality, or passions. When you shine from within, your body doesn’t need to do the talking.

The Bottom Line: It’s All About Emotion

Your weight isn’t just a matter of calories—it’s a reflection of deep, emotional conflicts that your brain is trying to solve. The good news? Once you understand these hidden patterns, you can start working with your brain instead of against it.

Loneliness? Build connections.

Stress? Find ways to feel strong.

Emotional hunger? Nourish your soul, not just your stomach.

Protection? Remind yourself you’re safe.

By addressing the emotional roots, you can break free from the biological programming behind weight gain—and enjoy life (and food) in a whole new way.

So the next time you look in the mirror, remember: your body isn’t the enemy—it’s just trying to help. I can help you teach your brain a better way with Regression Therapy and Neurofeedback for once and for all.
