Caroline’s Couture Unveils 2025 Collection on the Chopard Rooftop in Cannes
While the red carpet was buzzing with celebrities and flashbulbs, a quieter kind of magic happened high above it all—on the Chopard Rooftop at the iconic Hôtel Martinez. On May 15, 2025, Caroline Scheufele @chopardbycaroline presented a dazzling preview of her third Caroline’s Couture collection @carolinecouture.official, offering a cosmic blend of elegance and craftsmanship.
Set against the sparkling backdrop of Cannes and timed to coincide with the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the rooftop runway served as the perfect launchpad for a collection inspired by the vastness of the universe.

A Collection Born from Stars, Planets, and Passion
Caroline’s Couture 2025 is nothing short of interstellar. Think moons, galaxies, cosmic crystals—and all the planetary magic you can dream up. The color palette is bold and otherworldly, featuring shades that rival the radiance of stars: black opal, honey-yellow chrysoberyl, silver-blue aquas, and iridescent whites that glow like distant planets.
The artistry behind this collection is just as impressive as the inspiration. Caroline joined forces with master artisans from across the globe, from Swiss lace-makers in St. Gallen to Indian embroidery experts at the Kalhath Institute Foundation. The results? Gowns and garments that shimmer with hand-sewn sequins, crystal clusters, silver beads, and cosmic motifs that feel both magical and modern.

Fabrics from the Future (and a Few from the Past)
If you’re a fan of fabric innovation, this collection is a dream. Caroline’s team developed exclusive materials just for this launch—think warp-printed taffetas with a mystical Ikat effect, silk jacquards sourced from Lake Como, and airy mousselines that practically float.
Lace wasn’t just lace here—it was a layered fusion of machine embroidery, weaving, bonding, and laser cutting, resulting in textures that feel alive, almost vibrating with energy.

Haute Accessories with a Touch of Ice (Cube)
For the first time ever, Caroline’s Couture introduced couture accessories, and they were worth the wait. From lambskin Ice Cube clutches embroidered with starlit shades of black, night blue, and sky aqua, to an evening bag crafted entirely in gold-plated metal and ice-cube patterns, every detail was a conversation starter.
The highlight? A one-of-a-kind handbag created with Chopard’s jewelry artisans, featuring a closure fully set with diamonds and sapphires in rosy lavender tones. Haute Joaillerie met Haute Couture in a jaw-dropping fusion.

Menswear with a Celestial Twist
Caroline also continued her foray into men’s couture, introducing six head-turning looks. From a classic tux adorned with micro-star jacquard, to an avant-garde version in woven stainless steel, and even a shimmering fabric nod to the Alpine Eagle watch collection—this is menswear that’s out of this world.
Hats and Heels That Break the Mold
For the second season, Caroline partnered with legendary milliner Philip Treacy, who delivered headwear masterpieces like a giant Saturn ring, floating cosmic stars, a golden moon halo, and a literal shooting star explosion.
And for footwear? It was all Casadei. The Italian shoe house helped design exclusive sandals featuring the same couture fabrics and embellishments, tying each celestial silhouette together with elegance.

What’s Next?
The full collection will be unveiled on May 19th at the “Universe” evening by Chopard, alongside their Haute Joaillerie Red Carpet Collection—a night sure to be written in the stars (and headlines).
Caroline Scheufele proves again: style has no gravity.
