At Paris Couture Week, ELIE SAAB @eliesaabworld unveiled his Fall-Winter 2025–26 Haute Couture collection titled “La Nouvelle Cour” — a shimmering ode to modern royalty with a rebellious twist. Think Marie Antoinette after a style reboot: still regal, but with a little more edge and attitude.
Sugar, Spice & Silhouettes
Step into a pastel dreamland. The runway looked like a macaron box spilled open — soft pistachio, dusty rose, mint, and pearl white swept the stage in fluid gowns, feathered capes, and embroidered lace. This time, Saab didn’t just whisper luxury — he sang it loud, pairing exquisite French fabrics with modern corsetry and cinematic drama.
And the drama was real. Voluminous skirts moved like poetry, while corsets sculpted silhouettes that celebrated the female form in all its glory. Billowing velvet capes met delicate bows, creating tension between power and playfulness.

“I Want Candy” But Make It Couture
Yes, that song. Bow Wow Wow’s iconic track from Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette made a cheeky cameo in the soundtrack, confirming Saab’s love letter to playful decadence. “We wanted to revisit that era because young women love it,” he said. “After all the simpler things before, now they really want pieces with new volumes and exceptional flair.”
And exceptional they were. From structured moiré sheaths to shimmering brocade florals, every detail screamed craftsmanship. Saab reinvented heavy antique materials into weightless elegance using French lace from Lyon, whisper-thin jacquards, and hours of hand embroidery.

Regal, But Never Rigid
Even the most sculpted shapes felt soft and wearable. One look featured pannier-like volume minus the historical stiffness. A flirty knee-length trouser suit had 18th-century flair with modern-day sass, finished off with delicate calf bows.
Let’s not forget the finale — a bridal gown embroidered in moonlit florals, topped with a pearly overskirt and veiled crown. A queen among queens, indeed.
