Tom Holland may not be on social media, but that doesn’t stop him from keeping tabs on his girlfriend, Zendaya, in his own way. The Spider-Man star recently revealed on Samah Dada’s On The Menu podcast that he’ll occasionally Google Zendaya to make sure all is well. While promoting his new non-alcoholic drink brand, Bero, Holland admitted, “The last thing I Googled was actually Zendaya. I’m not on [social media], and I delete it when I’m not using it.”
Explaining that the occasional search stems from a bit of anxiety, Holland shared that he sometimes worries and wants to make sure she’s okay. “Sometimes, like, it’s more of a bit of an anxiety thing,” he admitted, adding, “I’ll check to see if everything’s good and to make sure we’re all cool. So I just give her a little Google…and I’m like, ‘She’s good.’”
It’s a sweet, grounded moment that captures the depth of his care for Zendaya — a thoughtful connection between the two that began when they met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 and blossomed into a relationship in 2021. For Holland, even a quick search becomes an expression of love and support in an otherwise digital age.
