Unlock Your Brain’s True Potential for a More Successful, and Fulfilling Life!

Part 2

The Hidden Role of Your Subconscious Mind.

Here’s where it gets fascinating: many of these childlike reactions are fueled by our subconscious minds. Tucked away in our subconscious are memories, beliefs, and automatic patterns steering our behavior. It’s like having an invisible backseat driver who’s calling the shots without us realizing it. This part of our mind often holds onto memories and beliefs from early experiences, nudging us toward impulsive, automatic reactions—even when those reactions no longer serve us. Plus, during our time in the womb, we may even pick up our mother’s feelings and reactions, adopting them as if they were our own.

Unlock Your Brain’s True Potential for a More Successful, and Fulfilling Life!

To truly break free, we need to unlock the hidden workings of the subconscious mind. Once we shed light on these patterns, we can start unlearning the automatic reactions that don’t serve us anymore. This is why traditional therapy fails to deliver desired lasting changes.  I saw people who were in psychotherapy for up to 58 years and were not able to resolve their emotional issues until they came to me. Psychotherapy typically works with our conscious minds, while most of our behavioral “blueprints” live in the subconscious, which doesn’t directly communicate with conscious thought.

Techniques for Subconscious Reprogramming.

This brings us to methods that can help you transform at the deepest level. Ready to shake off reactivity and switch to conscious response? Start with techniques that target your subconscious mind, like Neurofeedback, Dianetics and Regression Therapy. If these sound unfamiliar, here’s a surprising fact: all are from the last century. Neurofeedback is 57 years old, and Dianetics is 74! Imagine the impact if these methods had been widely adopted—we might have a healthier, more peaceful, and conscious society by now. Why aren’t they mainstream? Good question—one for our next discussion. But for now, let’s dive into what these methods can do for you.

1. Neurofeedback: Imagine being able to catch your brain slipping into reactive states in real-time, and shifting back to clear, calm, focused and alert control. Neurofeedback gives you that power, training your brain to stay steady even during challenging moments. With time, you learn to override the “child mode” and make room for mature, thoughtful conscious responses.

Neurofeedback, developed by NASA, is a type of EEG biofeedback that helps self-regulate and correct irregular brainwave patterns tied to mental, cognitive and neurological issues. Research has found that conditions like ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD are often linked to abnormal brain waves. Neurofeedback prompts your brain to produce healthy brain waves patterns closer to the scientific range of norm using operant conditioning sound). It is non-invasive, painless and side effects free.

Neurofeedback offers specific protocols to train the prefrontal cortex and regulate brainwave patterns. An experienced professional typically starts with sensory-motor areas, then parietal lobe, before focusing on the prefrontal cortex. Neurofeedback remains highly controversial and is not recognized by mainstream medical and psychological fields as a form of treatment despites the fact that it has proven efficacy and validity.  In 2015 a group of Neurofeedback providers presented a video of short reels to the US Senate with a pre and post work with US veterans who got disabilities due to their emotional distress after being on the war field.  The short videos clearly were showing these veterans in distress, not able to work, with a list of psychotropic medication before the course of Neurofeedback and without psychotropic medication and distress, happy and capable to work and after the course was completed.  However, the US Senate voted against “Accepting Neurofeedback as a treatment of choice” claiming it to be “not cost-effective”.

2. Dianetics: Dianetics, created by L. Ron Hubbard, aimed at mental and emotional healing by addressing subconscious memories of past traumas, called “engrams.” Through a process known as “auditing,” a trained practitioner guides individuals to recall and “re-experience” these memories, with the goal of reducing their negative impact. Using a device called an E-meter to track changes in the individual’s mental state, practitioners help them confront and “clear” these memories, aiming to achieve a state called “Clear” that is free from emotional distress caused by the reactive mind Dianetics helps you uncover and release stored traumatic memories, making way for the prefrontal cortex to take charge. With this shift, you can respond with the calm and clarity of an adult.  While some advocates claim it leads to better mental clarity and physical health, Dianetics remains highly controversial and is not recognized by mainstream medical and psychological fields as a validated form of treatment despites the fact that it has proven efficacy and validity.

3. Regression Therapy: This technique guides you in a semi-conscious state to explore subconscious traumatic memories, often from early life or even pre-birth, to uncover deep-seated emotional patterns and imprints. Through techniques like guided visualization, regression therapy helps you revisit these memories safely, allowing you to release repressed emotions and gain valuable insights that break old, limiting patterns.

4. Mindfulness and Meditation: These may sound simple, but they’re game-changers. By becoming aware of your thoughts and emotions as they arise, you create space to pause before reacting. Over time, mindfulness strengthens your prefrontal cortex, helping you manage emotions and respond with clarity rather than defaulting to “child mode.”

All these methods activate your prefrontal cortex for growth once you’ve started reprogramming subconscious patterns, you can strengthen your brain’s capacity for calm and focus.

The Benefits of Rewiring Your Responses:

When we let go of reactive, childlike subconscious responses, we unlock a new level of conscious personal power and emotional depth. This shift opens up opportunities for meaningful relationships, increased confidence, and choices that reflect our true values. With your brain in “adult mode,” you’ll find yourself tackling life’s challenges with ease, clarity, and resilience, opening doors to success and fulfillment.

Staying in reactive, negative emotional patterns holds us back from our full potential. By exploring techniques like Neurofeedback, Dianetics, Regression Therapy to reprogram our subconscious responses, and reinforcing these changes with Mindfulness and Meditation, we can step out of “child mode” and embrace a mature, emotionally intelligent approach to life.

With practice, you’ll no longer just react to life’s challenges—you’ll be able to accept them, face them with couscous insight, resilience, and calm confidence. Life will become a journey of growth, and each day will bring you new chances to expand, engage, and enrich your experience as a truly empowered adult, operating from your full mental potential.
