This season’s theme—”City Nomade”—is showcased at Paris Fashion Week @parisfashionweek and embodies adventure, passion, and a deep respect for the hidden beauty in our world.
Creative Director Georg Lux @georg_lux shows us that fashion can be both protective and adventurous, cozy and glamorous, all at once.

The Brand: LEONARD PARIS and Georg Lux
LEONARD PARIS, founded in the 1950s The label is renowned for its vibrant designs, fluid silhouettes, and distinct blend of art and fashion styles. Over the years, the house has become famous for its signature floral motifs and luxurious fabrics, which look stunning on the runway. Today, under Creative Director Georg Lux’s vision, LEONARD preserves its iconic heritage while adapting to modern world.
Lux’s approach? Mix classic LEONARD motifs (such bright florals and rich silks) with modern cuts and unusual textures. Each collection offers a glimpse into a world that is both deeply traditional and open to new experiences.

A Runway Show Inspired by Nomadic Wanderlust
At Paris Fashion Week, LEONARD unveiled its Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection with a show that transported us to exotic deserts and neon-lit cityscapes. The brand’s press release describes the lineup as an ode to “comforting beauty,” found in everything from ancient gardens hidden in arid lands to mysterious urban alleys glowing in the night.
Wong Kar-Wai Vibes
If you’re a fan of the atmospheric film In the Mood for Love, you’ll be excited to learn that director Wong Kar-Wai’s warm, sensual color palette influenced this collection. Imagine the vibrant hues of mahogany, burgundy, and gold dancing alongside deeper earth tones. These colors evoke the kind of cinematic drama that makes you want to sip jasmine tea in a hidden café at midnight.
A Modern Nomad’s Aesthetic
From “City Nomade” coats to fluid midi dresses, there’s a unique blend of protective outerwear and romantic underlayers. Think laminated jersey resembling pleated leather, plush quilted fabrics, and silky prints. Shoulders are accentuated, and silhouettes range from mini to maxi, reflecting the ever-changing environments our “city nomade” traverses—one moment she’s in an airy desert, the next in a crowded bar under twinkling lights.

Key Elements of the FW25/26 Collection
MATERIALS
Laminated jersey imitating pleated leather (plain black or rose-printed), glossy patent, warm wool-silk twill, and an enveloping half-floral, half-animal quilt.
COLORS
Warm shades of gold and dark chocolate, touches of lichen, pistachio, and forest greens, along with burgundy, mahogany, and hints of ivory.
PRINTS
The rose—mystical and ancestral—is the season’s queen of flowers. An abstract gold floral on black recalls nighttime city lights, while a pistachio-green ikat-style bloom adds freshness. A kaleidoscopic motif evokes neo-art-deco brilliance, and an archive cheetah reintroduces a touch of wildness.
DETAILS
Semiprecious stone buttons inspired by Berber jewelry, large abstract rhinestone flowers on a burgundy pea coat, and translucent sequin roses embroidered on a forest-green denim piece.

Silhouettes: From Protective Trenches to Flowing Dresses
One of the standout aspects of this collection is the balance between structured outerwear—like trench coats and pea coats with strong shoulders—and softer, more romantic pieces. Picture an oversized trench in laminated jersey layered over a silky, floral slip dress. It’s rugged yet refined, perfectly echoing the brand’s nomadic theme: you can stride confidently through a windswept desert or slip into a stylish night lounge in the city.

The Overall Mood
LEONARD PARIS FW25/26 paints a portrait of a woman exploring several cultural ideas, including oriental hints, desert illusions, and the sparkle of a metropolis at night. Everything comes together to create a collection that is both comfortable and elegant.
If you’ve ever wanted your wardrobe to reflect a life full of thrilling transitions—one moment enjoying coffee in a French café, the next boarding a red-eye ticket to Morocco—this is the season for it. It’s fashion that conveys a story of discovery, with vivid designs, warm colors, and a sense of daring romance.

“There’s something good in being nomadic. We must go through our times as we go through our cities: seeking out beauty whenever it is likely to present itself to us. For beauty is one of the most comforting expressions of our humanity” GEORG LUX Creative Director
