Golden Globes Glam: My Yays of the Night

Absolute Slay!

The Golden Globes are always the ultimate stage for Hollywood’s finest to serve face. Whether it’s dramatic smoky eyes, glassy skin that makes you want to re-up your skincare routine immediately, or a bold lip that screams “I’m coming for that Best Actress statue,” the glam is half the show. But let’s be real—some looks are red carpet royalty, while others make you question if someone’s glam squad took a coffee break. So here are my Golden Globes makeup “Yays” in all their glittery glory.

The Fresh-Faced Glow
You know that luminous, “I just got back from a private island” glow? That was everywhere this year, and honestly, I’m obsessed. Think dewy cheeks, perfectly feathered brows, and a subtle, glossy lip. Emma Stone totally nailed this look—it’s like she woke up flawless and decided to casually snatch a million hearts

The Velvety Lips: Subtle Sophistication

Zendaya knows when to let her eyes do the talking. She paired her dramatic eye look with a soft nude lip—a velvety finish with a hint of peach that was subtle, elegant, and oh-so-wearable. Honestly, it’s the kind of shade we’ll all be hunting down for our next date night.

70s Goddess Glam: Peachy Rose Goddess

Nicole Kidman embraced a ’70s-inspired makeup look crafted by makeup artist Gucci Westman. Westman utilized dusk-toned colors, including the new Petal shade and Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in Minnette and Petal, complemented by Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm. Nicole is awe-inspiring, i’m left speechless.

Statement Eyes That Actually Work
Darling, can we talk about Jenna Ortega’s winged liner situation? It was sharp enough to cut diamonds and somehow playful andsultry. Bonus points for experimenting with aubergine tones instead of classic black. Now that’s how you do “different” without going full chaos mode.

Masterclass in Feline Chic

Zoë Kravitz gave us everything. Her makeup was stunning, with a perfectly executed cat-eye so sharp it could cut glass. Absolutely purr-fection! Someone give her a trophy for Best Red Carpet Glow-Up already! Darling, what’s your take on this?

And that’s a wrap on my Golden Globes glam rundown! Whether it’s a yay, nay, or a “you tried,” one thing’s for sure: we’ll all be stealing (or avoiding) these trends for months to come. Until next time, keep slaying, keep blending, and for the love of all things sparkly, invest in a good setting spray.
