Julian Klausner Steps into the Spotlight as Dries Van Noten’s New Creative Director

A new chapter begins at Dries Van Noten @driesvannoten with the appointment of Julian Klausner as Creative Director, marking a pivotal moment in the brand’s storied legacy. Klausner, a graduate of La Cambre in Brussels, has been part of the Dries Van Noten family since 2018, working closely with Dries himself on the women’s collections.

His promotion to Creative Director is both a natural evolution and an exciting step forward for the label. Tasked with leading both menswear and womenswear, Klausner is poised to carry the brand’s signature artistry into the future. “The incomparable legacy Dries leaves behind is monumental, serving as an endless source of precious inspiration,” Klausner remarked.

The transition is already in motion, with Klausner’s debut Menswear Winter 2025 collection to be unveiled in January via a look book format, followed by his first women’s runway show on March 5th, 2025. Dries Van Noten himself expressed confidence in Klausner, stating, “His deep understanding of the brand and its values will ensure a seamless transition and a bright future.”

With a legacy rooted in poetic design and innovative storytelling, the brand’s future under Klausner promises a harmonious blend of heritage and new ambition.
